22. Januar 2015, 7.00 Uhr – Die Mikron Gruppe konnte im Geschäftsjahr
2014 den Umsatz um 3 Prozent auf CHF 249,5 Mio. (Vorjahr: CHF 241,1
Mio.) steigern und den Bestellungseingang mit CHF 244,8 Mio. (Vorjahr:
CHF 246,4 Mio.) auf Vorjahresniveau halten. Der Auftragsbestand
reduzierte sich per Ende 2014 um 4 Prozent auf CHF 117,0 Mio. (Ende
2013: CHF 122,4 Mio.). Wie Ende Oktober 2014 angekündigt, wird der EBIT
zwar positiv, jedoch tiefer als im Vorjahr ausfallen. Wie sich der
Entscheid der Schweizerischen Nationalbank über die Aufhebung der
Kursuntergrenze zum Euro auf die Entwicklung der Mikron Gruppe auswirken
wird, lässt sich zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch nicht abschätzen.
2014
entwickelten sich die Geschäftsfelder und Absatzmärkte der Mikron
Gruppe sehr uneinheitlich. Während die Medizinalgeräte- und
Pharmaindustrie und die US-amerikanische Wirtschaft ganz allgemein
deutlich zulegten, war die Nachfrage nach Investitionsgütern in Europa
von grosser Zurückhaltung und Unsicherheit geprägt, was insbesondere das
Geschäftssegment Machining zu spüren bekam. Auch die in den Vorjahren
gute Nachfrage aus der Schweiz gab deutlich nach. Und der schwache Euro
beeinträchtigte die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit ebenfalls. Trotzdem ist es der
Mikron Gruppe gelungen, die Marktführerschaft der beiden
Geschäftssegmente in Europa zu verteidigen. Die gute Auslastung der
Automobilindustrie wirkte sich zudem vorteilhaft auf das Werkzeug- und
Servicegeschäft aus. Die asiatischen Märkte haben sich im Berichtsjahr
nicht wie erhofft entwickelt. Immerhin konnte Mikron einige neue Kunden
gewinnen und die Kompetenzen vor Ort weiter stärken.

Geschäftsbericht mit den detaillierten Jahresergebnissen wird die Mikron
Gruppe anlässlich der Medien- und Analystenkonferenz am 9. März 2015
veröffentlichen.
Geschäftssegment Machining
Mikron
Machining ist der führende Anbieter von kundenspezifischen,
leistungsfähigen Fertigungslösungen für die Herstellung komplexer und
hochpräziser Metallkomponenten. Den grössten Teil des Umsatzes erzielt
das Geschäftssegment mit Kunden aus der Automobil, der Uhren- und der
Schreibgeräteindustrie.
Das Geschäftssegment Machining musste
2014 einen Rückgang der Nachfrage nach Fertigungslösungen feststellen.
Die gute Entwicklung im Werkzeug- und Servicegeschäft von Mikron
Machining konnte dies nicht kompensieren. Insgesamt verzeichnete das
Geschäftssegment Machining 2014 einen Rückgang beim Bestellungseingang
um 12 Prozent auf CHF 110,9 Mio. (Vorjahr: CHF 125,8 Mio.). Den Umsatz
konnte das Segment mit CHF 123,8 Mio. knapp unter dem Vorjahresniveau
halten (Vorjahr: CHF 125,2 Mio.). Der Auftragsbestand des
Geschäftssegment Machining war Ende 2014 mit CHF 46,9 Mio. um 19 Prozent
tiefer als Ende 2013 (CHF 57,6 Mio.).
Geschäftssegment Automation
Mikron
Automation gehört zu den weltweit führenden Herstellern von
kundenspezifischen, leistungsfähigen Automatisierungslösungen für die
hochpräzise Montage und Prüfung von bis zu handgrossen Produkten. Das
Geschäftssegment ist hauptsächlich in der Medizinalgeräte- und
Pharmaindustrie sowie in der Automobil- und der Konsumgüterindustrie
tätig.
Dank der grossen Nachfrage aus den USA, insbesondere aus
der Medizinalgeräte- und Pharmaindustrie sowie aus der
Konsumgüterindustrie, konnte das Geschäftssegment Automation 2014 den
Bestellungseingang um 10 Prozent auf CHF 134,5 Mio. (Vorjahr: CHF 121,8
Mio.) und den Umsatz um 9 Prozent auf CHF 126,8 Mio. (Vorjahr: CHF 116,8
Mio.) steigern. Der Auftragsbestand des Geschäftssegment Automation war
Ende 2014 mit CHF 70,1 Mio. um 8 Prozent höher als Ende 2013 (CHF 65,1
Mio.).

Légère hausse du chiffre d’affaires pour Mikron
Communiqué de presse sur les chiffres préliminaires de l’exercice 2014
Bienne,
le 22 janvier 2015, 7h00 – Le groupe Mikron a pu améliorer son chiffre
d’affaires de 3% au cours de l’exercice 2014, le portant ainsi à 249,5
millions de CHF (contre 241,1 millions de CHF l’année précédente), et a
maintenu ses entrées de commandes au niveau de 2013 avec 244,8 millions
de CHF (contre 246,4 millions de CHF l’année précédente). Le carnet de
commandes a quant à lui diminué de 4% en 2014, passant ainsi à 117,0
millions de CHF fin 2014 (contre 122,4 millions de CHF fin 2013). Comme
la société l’avait annoncé fin octobre 2014, l’EBIT sera certes positif
mais plus faible que l’année précédente. Pour l'heure, il est impossible
d’évaluer quel sera l’impact de la décision de la Banque nationale
suisse de supprimer son taux plancher par rapport à l’euro sur
l’évolution du groupe Mikron.
En 2014, les domaines
d’activité et les marchés du groupe Mikron ont évolué de manières très
diverses. Alors que la tendance était en nette hausse pour l’industrie
pharmaceutique et des équipements médicaux, comme pour l’économie
américaine dans son ensemble, la demande en biens d’investissement a été
marquée en Europe par une grande incertitude et retenue, qui a
particulièrement touché le segment Machining. Aussi, la bonne demande
du marché domestique des années précédentes a sensiblement baissé. La
faiblesse de l’euro a également eu un impact négatif sur la
compétitivité. Le groupe Mikron est malgré tout parvenu à défendre sa
position de leader sur le marché européendans ses deux segments
d’activité. La bonne utilisation de la capacité de production de
l’industrie automobile a en outre eu un effet favorable sur les
activités Services et Outillage. Les marchés asiatiques n’ont pas évolué
comme escompté pendant l’année sous revue, mais Mikron est parvenu à
gagner quelques nouveaux clients et à renforcer ses compétences sur
place.

détaillés de l’exercice lors de la conférence de presse et des analystes
qui se tiendra le 9 mars 2015.
Segment d’activité Machining
Mikron
Machining est le fournisseur leader de solutions d’usinage
personnalisées pour la fabrication de composants métalliques complexes
et de haute précision. Ce segment d’activité réalise la plus grande part
de son chiffre d’affaires auprès de clients opérant dans l’industrie
automobile, l’industrie horlogère et l’industrie des instruments
d’écriture.
Le segment Machining a enregistré un recul de la
demande de solutions d’usinage en 2014, que la bonne évolution des
activités Services et Outillage de Mikron Machining n’a pas suffi à
compenser. Globalement, le segment d’activité Machining a enregistré un
recul des entrées de commandes de 12% en 2014, ce qui les amène à 110,9
millions de CHF (contre 125,8 millions de CHF l’année précédente). Le
segment est parvenu à maintenir son chiffre d’affaires quasiment au
niveau de 2013, avec 123,8 millions de CHF (contre 125,2 millions de CHF
l’année précédente). Fin 2014, le carnet de commandes du segment
Machining était de 46,9 millions de CHF, ce qui représente une baisse de
19% par rapport à fin 2013 (57,6 millions de CHF).
Segment d’activité Automation
Mikron
Automation fait partie des leaders mondiaux de la production de
solutions automatisées individualisées pour l’assemblage et le test de
haute précision de produits allant jusqu’à la taille d'une main. Ce
segment d’activité opère principalement dans l’industrie pharmaceutique,
l’industrie des équipements médicaux, l’industrie automobile et
l’industrie des biens de consommation.
Grâce à la demande
importante émanant des Etats-Unis, notamment dans l’industrie
pharmaceutique et des équipements médicaux, ainsi que dans l’industrie
des biens de consommation, le segment Automation a vu progresser ses
entrées de commandes de 10% en 2014, à 134,5 millions de CHF (contre
121,8 millions de CHF l’année précédente) et son chiffre d’affaires de
9%, à 126,8 millions de CHF (contre 116,8 millions de CHF l’année
précédente). Fin 2014, le carnet de commandes du segment Automation
était de 70,1 millions de CHF, soit 8% au-dessus de fin 2013 (65,1
millions de CHF).

Mikron registra un lieve incremento di fatturato

22 gennaio 2015, ore 7.00 – Nell'anno di esercizio 2014, il Gruppo
Mikron è riuscito a incrementare il fatturato del 3% raggiungendo i
249,5 milioni di CHF (anno precedente: 241,1 milioni di CHF) e a
generare un volume delle ordinazioni in entrata pari a 244,8 milioni di
CHF mantenendosi al livello dell'anno precedente (246,4 milioni di CHF).
Il portafoglio ordini per la fine del 2014 si è ridotto del 4%
scendendo a 117,0 milioni di CHF (fine 2013: 122,4 milioni di CHF). Come
preannunciato a fine ottobre 2014, l'EBIT sarà positivo, ma tuttavia
inferiore a quello dell'anno precedente. Al momento non è ancora
possibile stimare quali conseguenze avrà la decisione della Banca
nazionale svizzera di abolire il limite inferiore del tasso di cambio
con l'euro sullo sviluppo del Gruppo Mikron.
Nel 2014 i
settori aziendali e i mercati di sbocco del Gruppo Mikron hanno avuto
uno sviluppo molto eterogeneo. Mentre l'industria farmaceutica e delle
apparecchiature medicali e l'economia statunitense in generale hanno
segnato una netta crescita, la domanda dei beni di investimento in
Europa è stata caratterizzata da una sostanziale reticenza e insicurezza
con particolari ripercussioni sul segmento di attività Machining. Anche
la buona domanda registrata dalla Svizzera negli anni precedenti ha
subito una forte battuta d'arresto. L'euro debole, inoltre, ha
compromesso anche la competitività. Tuttavia il Gruppo Mikron è riuscito
a difendere la leadership dei suoi due segmenti di attività in Europa.
Il buon sfruttamento dell'industria automobilistica si è rivelato
inoltre vantaggioso per il settore degli utensili e dei servizi di
assistenza. I mercati asiatici non hanno registrato lo sviluppo
auspicato nell'anno in esame. Il Gruppo Mikron ha potuto comunque
acquisire alcuni clienti nuovi e potenziare ulteriormente le sue
competenze in loco.

i risultati d'esercizio dettagliati in occasione della conferenza
stampa e degli analisti, che si terrà il 9 marzo 2015.
Segmento Machining
Mikron
Machining è fornitore leader di sistemi di lavorazione personalizzati,
per la realizzazione di componenti in metallo complessi e di alta
precisione in quantitativi elevati. La maggior parte del fatturato
proviene in questo segmento da aziende dell’industria automobilistica,
orologiera e degli strumenti di scrittura.
Nel 2014 il segmento
di attività Machining ha dovuto fare i conti con un calo nella domanda
di sistemi di lavorazione personalizzati che l'andamento positivo del
settore degli utensili e dei servizi di assistenza non è stato in grado
di compensare. Nell'anno in esame il segmento attività Machining ha
registrato nel complesso una riduzione del volume di ordinazioni in
entrata del 12% scendendo a 110,9 milioni di CHF (anno precedente: 125,8
milioni di CHF). Con 123,8 milioni di CHF, il fatturato si è attestato
leggermente al di sotto di quello dell'anno precedente pari a 125,2
milioni di CHF. Alla fine del 2014 il portafoglio ordini del segmento di
attività Machining era di 46,9 milioni di CHF, una cifra del 19%
inferiore rispetto alla fine del 2013 (57,6 milioni di CHF).
Segmento Automation
Mikron
Automation è uno dei produttori leader a livello mondiale di soluzioni
di automazione personalizzate per l’assemblaggio e il controllo ad alta
precisione di prodotti al massimo di dimensioni palmari. Questo segmento
è attivo principalmente nell'industria degli apparecchi medicali e
nell'industria farmaceutica, automobilistica e nei beni di consumo.
Grazie
alla forte domanda registrata dagli USA, in particolare dall'industria
farmaceutica e delle apparecchiature medicali così come dal settore dei
beni di consumo, nel 2014 il segmento di attività Automation è riuscito a
incrementare il volume delle ordinazioni in entrata del 10%, salendo a
134,5 milioni di CHF (anno precedente: 121,8 milioni di CHF), e il
fatturato del 9%, totalizzando 126,8 milioni di CHF (anno precedente:
116,8 milioni di CHF). Con 70,1 milioni di CHF, alla fine del 2014 il
portafoglio ordini del segmento di attività Automation superava dell'8% i
risultati del 2013 (65,1 milioni di CHF).

Mikron reports slightly higher net sales
Media release on preliminary volume figures for 2014 financial year
Biel,
22 January 2015, 7.00 a.m. – In the 2014 fiscal year, the Mikron Group
increased net sales by 3 percent to CHF 249.5 million (previous year:
CHF 241.1 million) and reported order intake of CHF 244.8 million
(previous year: CHF 246.4 million), virtually equaling the year-back
figure. 2014 closed with order backlog down 4 percent at CHF 117.0
million (end of 2013: CHF 122.4 million). As announced at the end of
October 2014, EBIT will be in positive territory, but lower than in
2013. It is still too early to predict how the decision of the Swiss
National Bank to abandon its currency floor against the euro will affect
the Mikron Group’s performance.
The Mikron
Group’s business areas and markets performed very differently in 2014.
Whereas the medical devices and pharmaceutical industries and the US
economy in general made significant progress, a widespread mood of
caution and uncertainty affected demand for capital goods in Europe, as
felt most acutely by the Machining business segment. The solid demand
from Switzerland seen in previous years also slowed down considerably.
The weak euro also affectecd competitiveness. The Mikron Group
nonetheless succeeded in defending the pole market position held by both
business segments in Europe. Healthy capacity utilization levels in the
automotive industry had an additional favorable impact on the tool and
service business. Although developments in the Asian markets fell short
of expectations in the year under review, Mikron was still able to win a
number of new customers and strengthen local competencies.
The
Annual Report, containing the detailed results for the Mikron Group for
2014, will be published at the Media and Analyst Conference on 9 March
2015.
Machining segment
Mikron Machining is
the leading supplier of customized, highly productive machining
solutions for the manufacturing of complex, high-precision components
made of metal. Customers in the automotive, watchmaking and writing
instruments industries account for the majority of the segment’s net
sales.
The Machining business segment faced a decrease in demand
for machining solutions in 2014. The strong performance by Mikron
Machining’s tool and service business was not sufficient to offset this
fall. For 2014 as a whole, the Machining business segment reported a 12
percent decline in order intake to CHF 110.9 million (previous year: CHF
125.8 million). The segment reported net sales of CHF 123.8 million,
only slightly below the prior-year level (previous year: CHF 125.2
million). At CHF 46.9 million, the Machining business segment’s order
backlog at the end of 2014 was 19 percent lower than at the end of 2013
(CHF 57.6 million).
Automation segment
Mikron
Automation is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of customized,
highly productive automation solutions for high-precision assembly and
testing of products up to hand size. The segment operates primarily in
the medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive and consumer goods
industries.
Thanks to high demand from the US, especially from
the medical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods industries, the
Automation business segment increased its order intake by 10 percent to
CHF 134.5 million (previous year: CHF 121.8 million) and net sales by 9
percent to CHF 126.8 million (previous year: CHF 116.8 million) in 2014.
At CHF 70.1 million, the Automation business segment’s order backlog at
the end of 2014 was 8 percent higher than at the end of 2013 (CHF 65.1
million).
