Im Geschäftsjahr 2014 hat die BKW ein überzeugendes Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) von rund 350 Mio. Franken erwirtschaftet. Dies entspricht einer Zunahme um 10 Prozent. Der um Sonderwertberichtigungen auf Produktionsanlagen bereinigte Vorjahreswert lag bei 317 Mio. Franken. Das Ergebnis liegt damit, in einem für die Branche unverändert schwierigen Umfeld, deutlich über den Erwartungen.
Zum guten Betriebsergebnis haben verschiedene Faktoren beigetragen. Insbesondere realisierte die BKW wirkungsvolle Massnahmen zur Steigerung der Effizienz und konnte die Kosten senken. Zudem gestaltete die BKW die Bewirtschaftung der Energieposition erfolgreich und erzielte im Bereich Energie- und Infrastrukturdienstleistungen ein markantes Wachstum.
Beim Reingewinn hat die BKW noch stärker zugelegt. Sie rechnet für das Geschäftsjahr 2014 unter dem Strich mit einem Gewinn von rund 290 Mio. Franken. Er ist damit deutlich höher als der bereinigte Reingewinn des Vorjahres von 166 Mio. Franken. Diese Steigerung ist auch auf verschiedene Sondereffekte zurückzuführen. Die ausserordentliche Performance der Wertschriften in den staatlichen Fonds für Stilllegung und Entsorgung hat massgeblich dazu beigetragen.
Das erfreuliche Ergebnis 2014 unterstreicht die Wirksamkeit der konsequenten Umsetzung der strategischen Ausrichtung der BKW Gruppe.

En 2014, BKW a réalisé un résultat d’exploitation (EBIT) convaincant de près de 350 millions de francs, soit une hausse de près de 10%. Après les corrections de valeurs effectuées sur les installations de production, le résultat d’exploitation 2013 s’établissait à 317 millions de francs. Dans un contexte qui reste difficile pour la branche de l’électricité, le résultat 2014 est ainsi nettement supérieur aux prévisions.
Différents facteurs ont contribué à ce bon résultat d’exploitation. BKW a notamment pu réduire ses coûts grâce aux mesures d’augmentation de l’efficacité mises en œuvre. Elle a également géré avec succès les activités liées à l’énergie et a enregistré une forte croissante dans le domaine des prestations énergétiques et des services d’infrastructure.
BKW a encore davantage amélioré son bénéfice net, qui s’établit à près de 290 millions de francs pour l’exercice 2014. Il est ainsi largement supérieur au bénéfice net corrigé de 2013, qui s’élevait à 166 millions de francs. Cette augmentation est également liée à différents effets extraordinaires. L’excellente performance des papiers-valeurs dans les fonds étatiques de désaffectation et de gestion des déchets radioactifs y a considérablement contribué.
Le très bon résultat 2014 souligne l’efficacité d’une mise en œuvre conséquente de la stratégie du groupe BKW.

Nell’esercizio 2014 BKW ha conseguito un convincente risultato ante oneri finanziari (EBIT) di circa 350 milioni di franchi, equivalente a un incremento del 10 per cento. L’importo dell’esercizio precedente depurato dalle rettifiche di valore sugli impianti di produzione era di 317 milioni di franchi. Il risultato ha superato decisamente le aspettative, in un contesto che continua ad essere difficile per il settore.
Al buon risultato operativo hanno contribuito vari fattori. In particolare, BKW ha realizzato provvedimenti efficaci per aumentare l’efficienza, in modo da ridurre i costi.Inoltre, BKW ha gestito con successo la voce energia, conseguendo una sensibile crescita nel settore dei servizi energetici e infrastrutturali.
BKW è riuscita ad aumentare ancora di più l’utile netto. Per l’esercizio 2014 prevede un utile di circa 290 milioni di franchi. Un risultato molto superiore all’utile netto rettificato di 166 milioni di franchi conseguito nell’esercizio precedente. Questo incremento è riconducibile anche a vari effetti straordinari.Vi ha contribuito in misura significativa l’eccezionale performance dei titoli nei Fondi statali per la disattivazione e lo smaltimento.

BKW posted impressive operating profit (EBIT) of around CHF 350 million for the 2014 financial year. This equates to an increase of 10 per cent. The previous year’s figure, which was adjusted for impairments on production facilities, amounted to CHF 317 million. In a continued difficult environment for the sector, this result is well above expectations.
Various factors contributed to the good operating profit. In particular, BKW implemented a number of effective measures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. BKW also successfully managed its energy position and achieved significant growth in the area of energy and infrastructure services.
BKW has seen an even sharper rise in its net profit. It expects bottom-line profit of around CHF 290 million for the 2014 financial year. This is considerably higher than the adjusted prior-year figure of CHF 166 million. This increase can be attributed to a number of one-off effects. The outstanding performance of securities in the state funds for decommissioning and disposal was a significant contributory factor.
The pleasing 2014 results underscore the effectiveness of systematic implementation of the BKW Group’s strategic positioning.
