Zurich shareholders approve dividend of CHF 17 and elect Joan Amble and Kishore Mahbubani to the Board of Directors

At today’s Annual General Meeting Zurich’s shareholders approved the dividend of CHF 17.00 and elected Joan Amble and Kishore Mahbubani to the Board of Directors. Shareholders also voted on the maximum total remuneration for the Board of Directors and the Group Executive Committee.

Zurich, April 1, 2015 – The Annual General Meeting of Zurich Insurance Group Ltd (Zurich) today approved an unchanged dividend of CHF 17.00 per registered share for the 2014 financial year, resulting in a payout ratio of 71% of net income. As this year’s dividend payment will again be paid from the capital contribution reserve, it will be exempt from Swiss withholding tax. The dividend will be paid starting April 9, 2015.

Zurich Aktionäre genehmigen Dividende von CHF 17 und wählen Joan Amble und Kishore Mahbubani neu in den Verwaltungsrat

Die Aktionäre von Zurich genehmigten an der heutigen ordentlichen Generalver-sammlung eine Dividende von CHF 17.00. Joan Amble und Kishore Mahbubani wurden neu in den Verwaltungsrat gewählt. Weiter stimmte die Generalversamm-lung erstmals über die maximalen Gesamtvergütungen für Verwaltungsrat und Konzernleitung ab. 

Zürich, 1. April 2015 – Die Generalversammlung der Zurich Insurance Group AG (Zurich) stimmte heute einer unveränderten Dividende von CHF 17.00 pro Namensaktie für das Geschäftsjahr 2014 zu. Das entspricht einer Ausschüttungsquote des Nettogewinns von 71%. Da die diesjährige Dividendenzahlung wiederum aus der Kapitaleinlagereserve geleistet wird, ist sie nicht verrechnungssteuerpflichtig. Die Dividende wird ab 9. April 2015 ausbezahlt.
