Vevey, 17. April 2015 - Nandu Nandkishore, Generaldirektor mit Verantwortung für die Zone Asien, Ozeanien und Afrika (AOA), hat sich nach einer langen und bemerkenswerten Karriere bei Nestlé zu einer frühzeitigen Pensionierung entschlossen. Nandu Nandkishore begann seine Karriere bei Nestlé in Indien im Jahr 1989, und nach Ernennungen bei den Nestlé-Tochtergesellschaften in Indien und Indonesien sowie am Nestlé-Hauptsitz wurde er zum Marktchef Indonesiens und anschliessend der Philippinen ernannt. Im Jahr 2010 wurde er in die Generaldirektion berufen, wo er zunächst das weltweite Geschäft für Säuglingsnahrung leitete, bevor er seine gegenwärtigen Verantwortlichkeiten übernahm.
Der Verwaltungsrat ernannte Wan Ling Martello, gegenwärtig CFO der Nestlé AG, zur Nachfolgerin von Nandu Nandkishore als Generaldirektorin mit Verantwortung für die Zone AOA ab dem 1. Mai 2015. Wan Ling Martello stiess im November 2011 zu Nestlé, nachdem sie bei Walmart zunächst sechs Jahre als CFO und Chief Strategy Officer für das internationale Geschäft tätig war, gefolgt von zwei Jahren, in denen sie das weltweite E-Commerce-Geschäft von Walmart aufbaute. Neben ihrer Erfahrung im Detailhandel verfügt Wan Ling Martello auch über umfangreiche Kenntnisse der Konsumgüterbranche durch ihre Tätigkeiten bei Kraft sowie Borden Foods während dessen Sanierungsjahren. Wan Ling Martello ist US-amerikanische Staatsbürgerin chinesischer Herkunft, die auf den Philippinen geboren wurde und aufwuchs.

Die Nachfolge von Wan Ling Martello als CFO wird zu gegebener Zeit verkündet. Zwischenzeitlich wird Paul Bulcke diese Verantwortlichkeiten mit der Unterstützung von Group Accounting and Reporting Head Stefan Helfenstein übernehmen.

Vevey, le 17 avril 2015 - Nandu Nandkishore, Directeur général en charge de la Zone Asie, Océanie, Afrique (AOA), a décidé de prendre une retraite anticipée après une longue et remarquable carrière chez Nestlé. Nandu Nandkishore a débuté sa carrière chez Nestlé en Inde en 1989. Après des nominations successives en Inde, en Indonésie et au siège du Groupe à Vevey, il a été nommé Chef de marché de l'Indonésie, puis des Philippines. En 2010, il a été nommé à la Direction générale du Groupe, d'abord en qualité de Chef global de la nutrition infantile, avant de prendre ses responsabilités actuelles.
Avec effet au 1er mai 2015, le Conseil d'administration a nommé Wan Ling Martello, actuellement Chief Financial Officer de Nestlé S.A., pour succéder à Nandu Nandkishore en qualité de Directrice générale, responsable de la Zone AOA. Wan Ling Martello a rejoint Nestlé en novembre 2011, venant de Walmart, où elle a passé d'abord six ans comme Chief Operating Officer et Chief Strategy Officer pour leurs activités internationales, puis deux ans durant lesquels elle a développé les activités globales de e-Commerce de Walmart. Outre son expérience en matière de distribution, Wan Ling Martello bénéficie également d'une vaste expérience de l'industrie des biens de consommation, acquise auprès de Kraft et de Borden durant les années de redressement. Wan Ling Martello est Sino-américaine, elle est née et a grandi aux Philippines.

Le remplacement de Wan Ling Martello en tant que «Chief Financial Officer» sera annoncé en temps voulu. Dans l'intervalle, Paul Bulcke assume cette responsabilité avec le soutien de Stefan Helfenstein, Chef Accounting and Reporting du Groupe.

Vevey, 17 April 2015 - Nandu Nandkishore, Executive Vice President in charge of Zone Asia, Oceania and Africa (AOA), has decided to take early retirement after a long and distinguished career with Nestlé. Nandu Nandkishore started his career at Nestlé in India in 1989, and after successive appointments in India, Indonesia and Nestlé Headquarters in Vevey, he was nominated market head of Indonesia and then of the Philippines. In 2010, he was appointed to the Executive Board, where he first served as global head of Infant Nutrition before taking on his current responsibilities.
Effective 1 May 2015, the Board of Directors has appointed Wan Ling Martello, currently CFO of Nestlé S.A., to succeed Nandu Nandkishore as Executive Vice President in charge of Zone AOA. Wan Ling Martello joined Nestlé in November 2011 from Walmart where she spent six years first as the CFO and Chief Strategy Officer for their International business, followed by two years building Walmart's Global eCommerce business. In addition to her retail experience, she also has extensive FMCG background, with Kraft as well as Borden Foods during its turnaround years. Wan Ling Martello is a Chinese American born and raised in the Philippines.

Wan Ling Martello's replacement as CFO will be announced in due course. In the meantime, Paul Bulcke assumes these responsibilities with the assistance of Group Accounting and Reporting Head Stefan Helfenstein.
