KUDELSKI GROUP COMPLETES THE SMARDTV TRANSACTION WITH ECHOSTAR

Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland – May 18, 2015 - The Kudelski Group (SIX: KUD.S) announced today the successful completion of its previously announced transaction pursuant to which EchoStar has become a shareholder in SmarDTV SA, the subsidiary of Kudelski SA that offers advanced set-top boxes and conditional access modules. As part of the transaction, EchoStar’s operations in Steeton, U.K. and Madrid, Spain have been transferred to SmarDTV.
