Siegfried Gruppe: Deutsches Kartellamt gibt grünes Licht für Übernahme von drei BASF-Standorten Montag, 13. Juli 2015 - 06:20
Wie bereits mitgeteilt, hat die Siegfried Gruppe (SIX: SFZN) mit dem deutschen Unternehmen BASF eine grundsätzliche Übereinkunft zur Übernahme wesentlicher Bereiche des Auftrags- und Zuliefergeschäfts mit pharmazeutischen Wirkstoffen und der damit verbundenen chemisch-pharmazeutischen Produktionsstätten in Deutschland, Frankreich und der Schweiz erzielt. Das deutsche Bundeskartellamt hat inzwischen mitgeteilt, dass keinerlei Vorbehalte gegen die Übernahme der drei BASF-Standorte durch die Siegfried Gruppe bestehen, eine wichtige Voraussetzung für den Vollzug der Verträge. Das Unternehmen geht deshalb weiterhin davon aus, dass das Closing zu Beginn des vierten Quartals stattfinden wird.

German Kartellamt greenlights acquisition of three BASF sites
As announced earlier, Siegfried Group (SIX:SFZN) has signed an agreement with BASF of Germany concerning the acquisition of significant segments of that company’s pharmaceutical supply business and connected chemical-pharmaceutical production units in France, Germany and Switzerland. The German antitrust authorities (Bundeskartellamt) have now disclosed that it has no reservations concerning the acquisition of three BASF sites by the Siegfried Group, an important precondition for implementation of the agreements. Siegfried, therefore, expects the agreement to be finalized at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
