Sunrise schafft eine einzige Infrastruktureinheit
Im Zuge der Straffung der Organisation konzentriert Sunrise alle technischen Aspekte in einer einzigen Infrastruktureinheit unter der Leitung von COO Elmar Grasser. Aufgrund dieser Änderung verlässt CIO Detlef Steinmetz das Unternehmen.
Detlef Steinmetz war seit Juni 2013 als CIO für Sunrise tätig. Unter seiner Führung hat Sunrise die IT-Infrastruktur erfolgreich erneuert durch die Anpassung an die komplexen Anforderungen eines wettbewerbsintensiven Telekommunikationsmarktes. CEO Libor Voncina dazu: «Netzwerk und IT wachsen zusammen. Detlef Steinmetz hat die IT-Infrastruktur erfolgreich modernisiert und verbessert, um Netzwerk und Kundenservice von Sunrise zu unterstützen und auf künftige Herausforderungen vorzubereiten.» Elmar Grasser, Chief Operating Officer, übernimmt die Verantwortung für den IT-Bereich in der von ihm geleiteten Infrastruktureinheit.
