Ascom verkauft die Geschäftseinheit Systems & Solutions an die Axino Solutions GmbH. Diese Transaktion ist ein erster Schritt im Rahmen der Überprüfung strategischer Optionen für die Division Network Testing.

Der Geschäftsbereich Systems & Solutions als Teil der Division Network Testing ist ein innovatives Software- und Systemhaus zur Planung und Realisierung von umfassenden IT-Gesamtlösungen im Bereich der betriebsunterstützenden Systeme. Der Kundenkreis umfasst Firmen aus den Bereichen Telekommunikation, Automobilindustrie, Energie, Einzelhandel sowie öffentliche Verwaltungen. Für das Geschäftsjahr 2015 erwartet Systems & Solutions einen Umsatz von rund CHF 13 Mio. Mit dem Verkauf des Geschäftsbereichs Systems & Solutions erzielt Ascom einen Buchgewinn im tiefen einstelligen Millionenbereich in Schweizer Franken.

Die Axino Solutions GmbH (zur Zeit noch firmierend als „Denus Zweihundertundneunzehn Unternehmensverwaltungs GmbH“) mit Sitz in Aachen übernimmt von der Ascom (Deutschland) GmbH sowie von der Ascom Solutions AG per 1. Januar 2016 sämtliche mit dem Geschäftsbereich Systems & Solutions verbundenen Rechte und Pflichten. Hinter der Axino Solutions GmbH stehen erfahrene private Investoren, die die Kontinuität von Systems & Solutions gewährleisten und das Geschäft langfristig weiterentwickeln wollen. Der bisherige Geschäftsführer Michael E. Wallrath wird den Bereich auch unter neuer Eigentümerschaft weiterführen. Alle rund 75 Mitarbeitenden werden an ihren bisherigen Standorten in Aachen und Solothurn übernommen und treten zur Axino Solutions GmbH über.

ASCOM DIVESTS THE SYSTEMS & SOLUTIONS BUSINESS UNIT TO AXINO SOLUTIONS GMBH

Ascom is selling the Systems & Solutions business unit to Axino Solutions GmbH. This transaction is the first results from Ascom’s review of strategic options for the Network Testing Division.

The Systems & Solutions business unit, part of the Network Testing Division, is an innovative software and systems company that plans and implements comprehensive IT solution in the field of operations support systems. Customers include companies from the telecommunications, automotive, energy and retail industries, as well as public administrations. Systems & Solutions expects a revenue of around CHF 13 million for fiscal year 2015. With the sale of the Systems & Solutions business unit, Ascom will achieve a book profit in the range of lower single-digit million Swiss francs.

Axino Solutions GmbH (currently signing with the firm name „Denus Zweihundertundneunzehn Unternehmensverwaltungs GmbH“) based in Aachen will take over all rights and obligations relating to Systems & Solutions from Ascom (Deutschland) GmbH and Ascom Solutions AG as of 1 January 2016. Experienced private investors, who will ensure the continuity of Systems & Solutions and the long-term development of the business, back Axino Solutions GmbH. The current Managing Director of Systems & Solutions, Michael E. Wallrath, will continue to lead the business unit under the new ownership. All 75 employees will be taken over at their existing locations in Aachen and Solothurn and transferred to Axino Solutions GmbH.
