Lausanne, le 23 décembre 2015 - La BCV et le Département américain de la justice (DoJ) ont signé un accord de non-poursuite dans le cadre de la catégorie 2 du programme US, adopté en 2013 par les autorités suisses et américaines. Ce «Non Prosecution Agreement» inclut le versement par la Banque d’un montant de USD 41,7 millions, intégralement couvert par les provisions existantes. Comme déjà communiqué, ce règlement n’est pas de nature à remettre en cause la politique de dividende de la Banque.
Cet accord permet à la Banque de mettre un terme à cette procédure initiée il y a plus de deux ans.

BCV reaches agreement on US tax issue
Lausanne, Switzerland, 23 December 2015 - BCV and the US Department of Justice (DoJ) have signed a non-prosecution agreement (NPA) with respect to BCV’s participation as a category 2 financial institution in the 2013 USA/Switzerland tax program. Under the terms of the agreement, BCV will pay a settlement of USD 41.7m, an amount that is fully covered by existing provisions. As previously announced, the settlement will not affect the Bank’s dividend policy.
The agreement marks the end of a process that began more than two years ago.
