Versy Continues to Build Momentum in LatAm with an increase of 34% in the Fourth Quarter to nearly 14 Million Channel Followers
ZURICH, Switzerland – 12 January 2016 – Myriad Group Ltd. (SIX Swiss Exchange: MYRN), today announced that Versy, Myriad’s unique platform for content discovery and conversation, has seen continued momentum in the last quarter. Since Q3 2015, Versy has experienced an increase in channel followers from 10.4 million to 13.9 million*, equating to an increase of 34%. Furthermore, content channels have also experienced double-digit growth, with an increase of over 14% from 250 in October 2015 up to 287. This comes as the company prepares the way for its new strategy with an enhanced user experience for Versy, to be launched in Q1 2016.
Versy users have continued to enjoy finding, sharing and chatting about interests they are passionate about, as new content channels have been launched. Recent channels have included a partnership with Perform Group that launched 7 new U.S. sports channels in December 2015, including soccer, basketball and hockey genres, bringing passionate sports fans exciting, breaking news. New channels are: NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, Nascar, NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball, further broadening the sports portfolio within Versy.
