Die US-amerikanische Autoneum-Tochter UGN hat ihr Werk in Chicago Heights, Illinois, an eine Tochtergesellschaft von Angeles Equity Partners verkauft. Mit dieser Transaktion passt UGN sein Produktportfolio in den USA an.
UGN, ein Gemeinschaftsunternehmen von Autoneum und dem japanischen Automobilzulieferer Nihon Tokushu Toryo (Nittoku), hat das Werk in Chicago Heights, Illinois, an eine Tochtergesellschaft von Angeles Equity Partners, eine private Investmentgesellschaft, verkauft. Über den Kaufpreis haben die Parteien Stillschweigen vereinbart.
In dem Werk in Chicago Heights hat UGN seit 1986 Dämpfungen für Fahrzeuge produziert. In den verbleibenden fünf Produktionsstätten in den USA und Mexiko fertigt UGN weiterhin für japanische Automobilhersteller Komponenten für Akustik- und Wärmemanagement.

Autoneum’s joint venture UGN sells business in Chicago Heights, USA
Autoneum’s US-American joint venture UGN has sold its business in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to an affiliate of Angeles Equity Partners. With this transaction, UGN adjusts its product portfolio in the USA.
UGN, a joint venture of Autoneum and Japanese automotive supplier Nihon Tokushu Toryo (Nittoku), has sold its business in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to an affiliate of the private investment firm Angeles Equity Partners. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
UGN has produced dampers for vehicles at its plant in Chicago Heights since 1986. At the remaining five production plants in the USA and Mexico UGN will continue to produce components for acoustic and thermal management for Japanese automobile manufacturers.
