It was a bold advertising claim, but sound facts lay behind it. An unswerving dedication to product quality drove George and Charles Page, the US brothers and Nestlé forefathers who launched Europe's first condensed milk in 1867, after founding the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company.
In 1905 Anglo-Swiss merged with another Swiss dairy pioneer. The rest is Nestlé history.
