Bossard Gruppe: Geschäftsabschluss 2015: Rekordumsatz – Frankenaufwertung schmälert Ergebnis Mittwoch, 02. März 2016 - 05:55
Die Bossard Gruppe ist im Geschäftsjahr 2015 erneut gewachsen.
Sie erzielte trotz Frankenaufwertung einen neuen Rekordumsatz von 656,3 Mio. CHF (+6,2 %), in Lokalwährung betrug der Zuwachs sogar 10,1 %. Geschmälert wurde das Ergebnis aber durch die Frankenaufwertung und die schwierige Nachfragesituation in wichtigen Absatzmärkten, besonders in der Schweiz. Das Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) sank gegenüber 2014 um 3,4 % auf 70,3 Mio. CHF, was einer EBIT Marge von 10,7 % entspricht. In diesem Kontext betont CEO David Dean: „Die Rentabilität der Bossard Gruppe ist im Branchenvergleich weiterhin überdurchschnittlich hoch. Wir werten dies als klare Bestätigung für unsere rentabilitätsorientierte Wachstumsstrategie der letzten Jahre.“

Record sales – Appreciation of the Swiss franc cuts into profit
The Bossard Group continued to grow in fiscal year 2015.
Despite the appreciation of the Swiss franc, the Group set a new sales record of CHF 656.3 million or +6.2 percent (+10.1 percent in local currency). However, profit was adversely affected in key markets, especially Switzerland, by the appreciation of the Swiss franc and the difficult demand situation. Operating profit (EBIT) fell by 3.4 percent against 2014 to CHF 70.3 million, which corresponds to an EBIT margin of 10.7 percent. In this context, CEO David Dean emphasizes an important point: “The Bossard Group's profitability continues to be above the average of the industry as a whole. We view this fact as clear confirmation of our profitability-oriented growth strategy of recent years.”
