Die Bossard Gruppe hat die offizielle Luftfahrtzertifizierung in Frankreich erhalten. Das behördliche Gütesiegel ist die Voraussetzung, um als Zulieferer in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie agieren zu dürfen. Damit hat Bossard eine weitere Hürde genommen, um sich verstärkt in diesem anspruchsvollen Wirtschaftszweig engagieren zu können. Die Gruppe ist bereits in den USA im Aerospace-Sektor aktiv, und hat im Februar 2016 auch in der Schweiz die offizielle Zertifizierung nach AS9120 erhalten.
Die Bossard Gruppe hat im Zuge ihrer Akquisitionsstrategie der vergangenen Jahre zunehmend Kompetenzen im Aerospace-Sektor aufgebaut. So ist die 2015 erworbene US-Tochter Aero-Space Southwest, Inc. im Luft- und Raumfahrtgeschäft aktiv und hält die offizielle Luftfahrtzertifizierung. Die nun in Frankreich erhaltene Zertifizierung ist ein wichtiger Schritt für Bossard, um ihre Tätigkeit in diesem technologisch anspruchsvollen Sektor weiter auszubauen.
