Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma reicht Antrag für die Marktzulassung von Patiromer in der Europäischen Union zur Behandlung von Hyperkaliämie ein
Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma hat bei der Europäischen Arzneimittelagentur (EMA) einen EU-Marktzulassungsantrag (MAA) für Patiromer eingereicht. Das Unternehmen beantragt über das zentralisierte Zulassungsverfahren der EU die Marktfreigabe von Patiromer in der Europäischen Union für die Behandlung von Hyperkaliämie (erhöhter Kaliumspiegel im Blut).
Im August 2015 gingen Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma (VFMCRP), ein gemeinsames Unternehmen von Galenica und Fresenius Medical Care, und Relypsa, Inc. eine exklusive Partnerschaft ein, um den Kaliumbinder Patiromer in Europa und weiteren Regionen zu vertreiben.

Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma submits marketing authorisation application requesting European approval of Patiromer for treatment of hyperkalemia
Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma has submitted a marketing authorisation application (MAA) to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for Patiromer. The company is seeking approval of Patiromer for the treatment of hyperkalemia, or elevated blood potassium levels, in the European Union (EU) through the EU centralized procedure.
In August 2015, Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma (VFMCRP), a common company of Galenica and Fresenius Medical Care, and Relypsa, Inc. entered into an exclusive partnership to commercialise the potassium binder Patiromer in Europe and additional territories.
