Airopack Technology Group successfully closes the acquisition of Resilux's
50% stake in Airolux joint venture

  - Full control of Airolux allows ATG to unlock growth potential of
    Airopack technology

Baar, 13th May 2016 - Airopack Technology Group AG ("ATG") is pleased to
announce it has closed today the acquisition of the 50% stake in the
Airolux AG joint venture ("Airolux") previously owned by Resilux. The
acquisition allows ATG to fully utilise ATG's Airopack technology and
unlock its growth potential, reduce manufacturing cost, enhance time to
market and improve the organizational footprint.

Sole ownership of Airolux satisfies a key condition for the strategic
partnership entered with funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global
Management, LLC (NYSE:APO) (together with its consolidated subsidiaries,
"Apollo"), and allows ATG to progress in the next phase of its strategic
partnership with Apollo, as previously announced in December 2015.

ATG paid a cash consideration of EUR25 million to acquire Resilux's 50%
stake in Airolux, funded with debt financing provided by funds managed by
affiliates of Apollo (the "Apollo Funds"). ATG will also repay Resilux's
outstanding shareholder loans and financial debts to Airolux of around
EUR37 million.

ATG has commenced preparations for a general meeting of its shareholders,
to be held on 23rd June 2016, in respect of the requisite approvals for the
equity investment from the Apollo Funds and the share capital increase. The
agenda for this meeting will be communicated in due course. Further
announcements will be made if and when appropriate.
