At booth B1.170, Leclanché colleagues will be available to discuss the technology behind their array of home energy, stationary and mobile storage systems.

Focusing on Home Storage, major news is announced for Intersolar with the addition of inverter compatibilities and the integration of new versions of the ApollionCUBE and the SRS.

Leclanché has recently designed and provided a broad range of solutions to adress a very diverse set of requirements such as a 100 kWh scalable ApollionCUBE based storage system for a remote Island in Sri Lanka covering 100% of the inhabitants needs, and installed a 25 kWh SRS2025 storage solution in Switzerland integrating Solar PV to fully charge an electric vehicle for its 200 km daily travel. By completing its product range, proposing a wide panel of inverter compatibilities and allowing scale-up options, the strategy of the Swiss company is clearly to provide turnkey integrated energy storage solutions to residential owners, commercial and industrial clients.

Attending Intersolar Europe, Leclanché also seizes the opportunity to provide visitors with an update on its most recent large scale industrial projects:

Renewable Energy Grid for Graciosa in Portugal – Leclanché, in partnership with Younicos, is building the world’s first megawatt-scale micro-grid renewable energy plus storage system, integrated with wind, solar generation, on the island of Graciosa in the Azores, Portugal.

E-ferry in Denmark – Leclanché is providing the battery system for the world’s largest battery operated ferryboat to be built by Danish shipbuilder Søby Shipyard Ltd, part of the EU initiative Horizon 2020. The ferry will be placed in service in June, 2017 to transport vehicles and passengers between the island of Ærø and the mainland in Denmark.

Fully Electric BB Green Commuter Vessel in Latvia – Leclanché provided the battery energy storage system for BB Green, the world’s fastest Air Supported Vessel, which has been launched at Latitude Yachts in Riga, Latvia.

Grid Ancillary Services for Ontario in Canada – Leclanché has been selected to supply one of the largest energy storage systems in the world as part of a joint project with Deltro Energy Inc. covering six ancillary services agreements with Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).
