Traffic figures
2,376,672 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in June (+2.8% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 5.9% and transfer passengers decreased by 4.6%. The transfer rate which was at 29.1% last June is at 27.0% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In June, air traffic movements increased to 23,643 (+0.2% vs. previous year).

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor is at 74.7% (-3.0 percentage points vs. previous year) and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 115.7 (114.5 previous year).

Commercial activities 
Total turnover in June was CHF 47.3m (+3.8% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +4.2% for airside and +3.3% for landside.
Year-to-date, total turnover saw an increase of +1.5% compared to last year (airside +2.0%, landside +0.8%). The spend per departing passenger is currently at CHF 40.7 (-1.9% vs. previous year).
