Traffic figures
2,856,095 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in July (+6.8% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 6.7% and transfer passengers by 7.2%. The transfer rate which was at 26.4% last July is at 26.5% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In July, air traffic movements increased to 25,410 (+1.8% vs. previous year).

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor is at 81.6% (-0.7 percentage points vs. previous year) and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 128.5 (123.1 previous year).

Commercial activities 
Total turnover in July was CHF 54.0m (+4.6% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +5.3% for airside and +3.5% for landside.
Year-to-date, total turnover saw an increase of +2.0% compared to last year (airside +2.6%, landside +1.2%). The spend per departing passenger is currently at CHF 40.1 (-2.0% vs. previous year).
