GF erwirbt zwei Unternehmen in China

Die Chinaust Gruppe, ein 50/50-Joint Venture zwischen GF Piping Systems und Lingyun Industrial Co., gibt heute die Akquisition von zwei chinesischen Firmen bekannt: Shuchang Auto Part Co. Ltd und Lingyun Jingran Gas Valve Co. Ltd.
Die zwei Akquisitionen tragen zur weiteren Expansion von GF in China bei – einem Schlüsselmarkt für alle GF Divisionen für weiteres Wachstum. Beide Firmen sind seit Jahren verlässliche Zulieferbetriebe der Chinaust Gruppe. Ihre Produkte ergänzen die Lieferkette der Chinaust Gruppe auf ideale Weise und stärken damit ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit.
Shuchang Auto Part Co. Ltd stellt Schnellverbindungen für Treibstoffleitungen in Fahrzeugen her. Lingyun Jingran Gas Valve Co. Ltd ist auf Polyethylen-Kugelhähne spezialisiert, die in der Gas-Distribution zum Einsatz kommen. Zusammen erwirtschafteten sie 2015 rund CHF 20 Mio. und beschäftigen rund 200 Mitarbeitende. Die beiden Privatunternehmen befinden sich in Langfang, in der Province Hebei.
Der Abschluss der Akquisitionen wird innerhalb der nächsten zwei Monate erwartet und hängt von der Zustimmung der zuständigen chinesischen Behörden ab. Die Parteien haben über die finanziellen Details der Transaktionen Stillschweigen vereinbart.

GF ist seit 1993 im chinesischen Markt tätig. Heute besitzt GF in China
21 Unternehmen, darunter 14 Produktionsstätten, und beschäftigt rund 3
150 Mitarbeitende. Alle drei Divisionen von GF streben im wichtigen
Wachstumsmarkt China eine weitere Expansion an. Im Jahr 2012 wurde die
Chinaust Gruppe, das 50/50-Joint Venture zwischen GF Piping Systems und
Lingyun Industrial Corp., das grösste Unternehmen innerhalb von GF.
GF umfasst die drei Divisionen GF Piping Systems, GF Automotive und
GF Machining Solutions. Das 1802 gegründete Industrieunternehmen hat
seinen Hauptsitz in der Schweiz und betreibt in 32 Ländern 121
Gesellschaften, davon 45 Produktionsstätten. Die rund 14 400
Mitarbeitenden haben im Jahr 2015 einen Umsatz von CHF 3,64 Mia.

GF to acquire two companies in China

The Chinaust Group, a 50/50 joint venture between GF Piping Systems and Lingyun Industrial Co., announces today the acquisition of two Chinese companies: Shuchang Auto Part Co. Ltd and Lingyun Jingran Gas Valve Co. Ltd.
The two acquisitions contribute to GF’s further expansion in China, a key market for all GF divisions to generate further growth. Both have been trusted suppliers of the Chinaust Group for years. Their products are completing the supply chain of Chinaust in an ideal manner and strengthen its competitiveness.
Shuchang Auto Part Co. Ltd manufactures quick connectors for automotive fuel lines. Lingyun Jingran Gas Valve Co. Ltd specializes on polyethylene ball valves for gas distribution networks. Together, they generated sales of approx. CHF 20 million in 2015 with a total workforce of approx. 200 employees. The privately-owned companies are located in Langfang, in the province of Hebei.
Closing is anticipated within the next two months and is subject to the approval of the relevant Chinese authorities. The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.

throughout the country, including 14 production facilities, and employs
around 3 150 people. All three GF divisions aim to further expand in
China – an important growth market for each of them. In 2012, the
Chinaust Group, the 50/50 joint venture of GF Piping Systems and Lingyun
Industrial Corp., has become the largest company of GF.
