Die ALSO Holding AG (SIX: ALSN) plant, Five 4 U B.V. zu übernehmen. Five 4 U ist einer der führenden spezialisierten Distributoren für Hardware und Software in Benelux. Das Unternehmen ist Distributor für Apple und weitere namhafte Hardwareanbieter wie beispielsweise HP und Epson. Zusätzlich bietet Five 4 U seinen Kunden Software und IT-Services an. Ein Großteil der Aktivitäten liegt in der Logistik sowie im Service Merchandising.
Five 4 U wurde 1992 in Utrecht gegründet und erwartet für 2016 einen Umsatz von rund 285 Millionen Euro in den Niederlanden, Belgien, und Luxemburg. Das Unternehmen bietet seinen Kunden ein breites Angebot von Apple-Produkten und Zubehör sowie Hardware diverser anderer Anbieter an. Hinzu kommen Dienstleistungen im Bereich Service und Support, z.B. Online-Fulfillment, Bestell- und Auslieferungsmanagement und Lagerservices.
„Five 4 U passt sehr gut zu uns. Unsere Leistungen sind in Benelux komplementär. Ich bin überzeugt, dass wir gemeinsam von dem Zusammenschluss profitieren werden“, erklärt Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO von ALSO. „Mit ALSO bekommt Five 4 U einen breiten internationalen Marktzugang, ALSO kann den Fokus von Five 4 U auf Benelux nutzen, um seine starke Marktposition den Niederlanden, Belgien und Luxemburg weiter auszubauen“, erklärt Rien Slagter, CEO von Five 4 U.
Five 4 U vertreibt mehr als 50 Verkäufermarken und hat eine internationale Kundenbasis von Resellern, die vom breiten Service- und Produktangebot von ALSO profitieren werden. Dieses Cross Selling-Potenzial will ALSO ausschöpfen.
ALSO geht davon aus, dass nach der Due Dilligence-Phase voraussichtlich im Herbst 2016 der Kaufvertrag unterzeichnet werden kann.

ALSO IN EXCLUSIVE TALKS TO ACQUIRE DUTCH DISTRIBUTOR FIVE 4 U
ALSO Holding AG (SIX: ALSN) intends to acquire Five 4 U B.V. Five 4 U is a leading and fully specialized distributor of computer hardware and software in the Benelux countries, distributing for Apple and other reputable hardware vendors like HP and Epson. A large part of their business model is based on supply activities. Furthermore they provide services like warehousing and service merchandising.
FIVE 4 U was founded in 1992 in Utrecht and forecasts a revenue of approximately 285 million euros in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg for 2016. Five 4 U offers a broad portfolio of Apple products and accessories, hardware by other providers and services and support solutions such as online fulfilment, order and delivery services and storage services.

Five 4 U represents more than 50 vendors and has an international customer base of well-established resellers. They will also benefit from ALSO’s broad portfolio of product and service offers. ALSO intends to leverage this given cross selling potential.
ALSO expects to sign the business combination agreement in fall 2016 after the completion of the due diligence.
