Bell übernimmt die auf die Gastronomiebelieferung spezialisierte Geiser AG in Schlieren. Das Unternehmen erzielt mit 120 Mitarbeiter einen Jahresumsatz von rund CHF 45 Mio. Sämtliche Mitarbeiter sowie das Management-Team werden übernommen.
Bell Schweiz stärkt seine Position in der Belieferung des Schweizer Gastronomiemarktes und übernimmt die Geiser AG in Schlieren/ZH. Die Geiser AG erzielt mit 120 Mitarbeiter einen Jahresumsatz von rund CHF 45 Mio. Im Produktionsbetrieb in Schlieren produziert die Geiser AG Fleisch und Charcuterie sowie verschiedene Spezialitäten hauptsächlich für die Gastronomie. Sämtliche Mitarbeiter werden übernommen und die Geschäfte werden weiterhin vom bestehenden Management geführt. Der Betrieb wird voraussichtlich per 01.10.2016 in die Bell-Gruppe konsolidiert. Über die Kaufmodalitäten wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart.
Für die Geiser AG bedeutet die Übernahme die ideale Nachfolgeregelung sowie die Sicherung des Unternehmens in einem stark umkämpften Markt. Die Geiser AG wird unter dem Dach der Bell Schweiz als eigenständige Unternehmung geführt werden und bearbeitet weiterhin ihre eigenen Absatzmärkte. Mit der Übernahme erhält Bell einen auf die Herstellung von gastrospezifischen Sortimente spezialisierten Betrieb sowie einen weiteren Zugang zum wichtigen Gastronomiemarkt in der Schweiz.
Im Rahmen ihrer Investitionsplanung in der Schweiz fokussiert Bell ihre Betriebe noch stärker auf die Kun-dengruppen. Während die Grossbetriebe die rationelle und effiziente Herstellung von Grossserien ins Zent-rum stellen, sollen kleinere, flexible Betriebe die regionalen und kundenspezifischen Sortimente bewirtschaf-ten.

Bell reprend Geiser AG, une société établie à Schlieren et spécialisée dans l’approvisionnement de la restauration. Elle réalise un chiffre d’affaires annuel d’env. 45 millions de francs avec un effectif de 120 personnes. L’ensemble du personnel ainsi que l’équipe du management sont repris.
Bell Suisse renforce sa position dans le segment de l’approvisionnement du marché national de la restauration en reprenant Geiser AG à Schlieren/ZH. Cette société réalise un chiffre d’affaires annuel d’env. CHF 45 millions avec un effectif de 120 personnes. A Schlieren, Geiser AG produit de la viande et de la charcuterie ainsi que différentes spécialités, principalement pour la restauration. L’ensemble du personnel est repris et le management en place continuera de diriger les affaires. La consolidation au sein du groupe Bell s’effectuera probablement au 1er octobre 2016. Les parties ont décidé de ne pas communiquer les modalités de la transaction.
Pour Geiser AG, ce rachat règle de manière optimale la question de la succession et assure la pérennité de l’entreprise dans un environnement de marché soumis à une intense concurrence. Après intégration au sein de Bell Suisse, Geiser AG poursuivra ses activités comme unité indépendante avec ses propres débouchés. Grâce à ce rachat, Bell dispose d’une entreprise spécialisée dans la production d’assortiments spécifiques à la restauration et s’assure ainsi un accès supplémentaire à cet important marché en Suisse.
Dans le cadre de la planification de ses investissements en Suisse, Bell concentre encore davantage ses sites de production sur les différentes catégories de clients. Alors que les grands sites doivent avant tout viser la production efficiente et rationnelle de grandes quantités, les unités plus petites et plus flexibles favorisent les assortiments régionaux et spécifiques aux clients.

Bell Switzerland strengthens its position in deliveries to the Swiss food service market and takes over Geiser AG in Schlieren/ZH. Geiser AG generates annual sales of some CHF 45 million with 120 employees. In its production plant in Schlieren, Geiser AG produces meat and charcuterie products as well as a number of specialities, mostly for the food service sector. All employees will be taken over and the current management team will continue to manage the business operations. Consolidation with the Bell Group is planned from 1 October 2016. The parties have agreed to keep the details of the transaction confidential.
For Geiser AG, the takeover is the ideal succession solution and safeguards the company's position in a very competitive market. Geiser AG will be managed as an independent unit under the umbrella of Bell Switzerland and will continue to work its own sales markets. The takeover gives Bell a company specialised in the manufacture of products focusing on the food service sector as well as additional access to the important food service market in Switzerland.
As part of its investment planning in Switzerland, Bell is strengthening its focus on customer groups. While the bigger production sites focus on rational and efficient large-scale production, the smaller and more flexible plants should concentrate on regional and customer-specific product ranges.
