Alpiq schliesst Verkauf der Swissgrid-Aktien und -Darlehen ab Dienstag, 08. November 2016 - 18:15
Lausanne – Alpiq hat den Verkauf der nicht strategischen Beteiligung an der Swissgrid AG am 8. November 2016 abgeschlossen. Alpiq fliesst ein Betrag von 146 Millionen CHF zu, der für die weitere Reduktion der Nettoverschuldung verwendet wird.
Alpiq hat am 6. Oktober 2016 den bevorstehenden Abschluss des Verkaufs der von der Alpiq Grid Beteiligungs AG gehaltenen 30,3-%-Beteiligung an der Swissgrid AG kommuniziert. Der Verkauf an die BKW Netzbeteiligung AG konnte am 8. November 2016 abgeschlossen werden, nachdem der Swissgrid-Verwaltungsrat Ende Oktober der Aktienübertragung zugestimmt hat und die laufenden Verfahren eingestellt worden sind.
Mit diesem und mehreren in der Vergangenheit getätigten Schritten schliesst Alpiq den Verkauf der nicht strategischen Beteiligung an der Swissgrid AG in Form von Aktien und Darlehen für insgesamt 557 Millionen CHF ab. Alpiq fliesst mit diesem Abschluss ein Betrag in der Höhe von 146 Millionen CHF zu. Dieser wird für die weitere Reduktion der Nettoverschuldung verwendet.

Lausanne – Le 8 novembre 2016, Alpiq a conclu la vente de sa participation non stratégique dans Swissgrid SA. Alpiq touche un montant de 146 millions de CHF qui servira à réduire encore son endettement net.
Le 6 octobre 2016, Alpiq avait annoncé qu’elle était sur le point de clore la vente de la participation de 30,3 % qu’Alpiq Grid Beteiligungs AG détient dans Swissgrid SA. Après l’approbation du Conseil d’administration de Swissgrid fin octobre pour le transfert des actions et suite à la suspension de toutes les procédures en cours, la vente à BKW Netzbeteiligung AG a pu être conclue le 8 novembre 2016.
Cette opération ainsi que plusieurs transactions réalisées par le passé permettent à Alpiq de clore la vente de la participation non stratégique dans Swissgrid SA formée d’actions et de prêts à hauteur de 557 millions de CHF au total. Avec cette conclusion, Alpiq touche un montant de 146 millions de CHF qui servira à réduire encore l’endettement net.
Alpiq concludes divestment of Swissgrid shares and loans
Lausanne – Alpiq concluded the divestment of its non-strategic interest in Swissgrid AG on 8 November 2016. Alpiq will receive an amount of CHF 146 million, which will be used to further reduce net debt.
On 6 October 2016, Alpiq announced the pending closing of the divestment of the 30.3%-interest in Swissgrid AG, which was held by Alpiq Grid Beteiligungs AG. The sale to BKW Netzbeteiligung AG was concluded on 8 November 2016 after the Swissgrid Board of Directors approved the transfer of shares and upon discontinuation of pending proceedings.
With this and several other steps taken in the past, Alpiq has concluded the divestment of its non-strategic interest in Swissgrid AG for a total of CHF 557 million in the form of shares and loans. With the closing of this transaction, Alpiq will receive an amount of CHF 146 million. These proceeds will be used for the further reduction of net debt.
