SIX is new partner of ETH ZISC

 

Data protection and security are of utmost importance to SIX as the main infrastructure provider for the Swiss financial center. In the constantly and rapidly changing world of IT, security requirements must be geared to changing situations and to the future. In its latest venture, SIX plans to work more closely with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in order to be even nearer to the beating heart of research. A twelve-year research cooperation agreement with Zurich Information Security and Privacy Center (ZISC) at the ETH was sealed yesterday, making it an active cooperation partner for future projects and developments.

Datenschutz und Sicherheit sind für SIX als zentrale Infrastrukturdienstleisterin des Schweizer Finanzplatzes das höchste Gut. In einer sich stetig und schnell wandelnden IT-Welt müssen Sicherheitsanforderungen den sich verändernden Gegebenheiten standhalten und zukunftsgerichtet ausgelegt sein. Um künftig noch näher am Puls der Wissenschaft zu sein, plant SIX mit ihrem jüngsten Engagement, enger mit der ETH Zürich zusammenzuarbeiten. Als aktive Kooperationspartnerin für zukünftige Projekte und Entwicklungen wurde gestern eine zwölfjährige Forschungskooperation mit dem Zurich Information Security and Privacy Center (ZISC) an der ETH besiegelt.

La protection des données et la sécurité jouent un rôle fondamental pour SIX, le prestataire central d’infrastructure de la place financière suisse. Dans un monde informatique en évolution constante et rapide, les exigences de sécurité doivent être axées sur le futur et conçues pour endurer l’évolution de la situation. Afin de se rapprocher davantage du milieu scientifique à l’avenir, SIX compte profiter de son dernier engagement pour coopérer plus étroitement avec l’EPF Zurich. Une coopération de recherche de douze ans a été scellée hier avec le Zurich Information Security and Privacy Center (ZISC) à l’EPFZ et SIX, partenaire actif de coopération pour les projets et développements futurs.
