Traffic figures
1,879,198 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in February (+6.8% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 3.5% and transfer passengers by 16.0%. The transfer rate which was at 26.8% last February is at 29.1% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In February, air traffic movements decreased by 1.7% to 18,736 versus previous year.

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 2.4 percentage points to 73.0% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 114.1 (104.7 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in February was CHF 38.0m (+3.5% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +7.3% for airside and -1.0% for landside.
The spend per departing passenger is currently at CHF 41.1 (-3.2% vs. previous year).
