The BKW Group has decided to review various options for its sales business in Italy. The focal point will be to sell Electra Italia's sales activities, including its supply agreements and customer base. Other activities of BKW Italia are not affected.

BKW reviews its portfolio on a regular basis. Due to the current market situation and the development of the BKW Group with a focus on energy and infrastructure services, the company has decided to review options for the sale of its Italian sales business. This affects the BKW subsidiary Electra Italia. In its international business, the BKW Group focusses on energy production, engineering, and energy contracting and services in the field of building technology. These divisions will be continued and developed through BKW Italia.
