Handover of VZ Group's CFO function

Zurich, 7 July 2017 - Philipp Marti has decided to leave VZ Group for
personal reasons. He will resign as member of the Group Executive Board and
as CFO on

years, has been appointed as his successor by the Board of Directors. To
ensure a smooth handover, Philipp Marti will support his successor until the
end of March 2018. The members of the Board of Directors regret Philipp
Marti's decision and thank him for his commitment over the past years. At
the same time, they look forward to continue working with Rafael Pfaffen.
