In the US, recalls went down 33%, to 10 products, during the same period.
The risk of electric shock was the most commonly reported issue in the EU, while in the USA the most common risks posed by products were electrical shock and fire. Furthermore, the most recalled products in Q3 were electrical appliances and lighting equipment.
