Dekotierung am 21. Mai 2013 vorgesehen: Appellationsgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt erklärt restliche sich im Publikum befindende Namenaktien B der Bank Sarasin für kraftlos

Am 25. April 2013 hat das Appellationsgericht des Kantons Basel-Stadt alle restlichen sich im Publikum befindenden Namenaktien B der Bank Sarasin für kraftlos erklärt. Diese Entscheidung folgt auf den im Oktober 2012 erfolgten Vollzug des öffentlichen Übernahmeangebots von Safra für alle sich im Publikum befindenden Namenaktien B der Bank Sarasin, als dessen Folge Safra 99% des Aktienkapitals und der Stimmrechte der Bank Sarasin hielt.

Auf Antrag der Bank Sarasin hat die SIX Swiss Exchange der Dekotierung der Namenaktien B der Bank Sarasin zugestimmt. In Übereinstimmung mit dem beabsichtigten Zeitplan ist vorgesehen, dass die Dekotierung am Dienstag, 21. Mai 2013 erfolgt und dass die Namenaktien B der Bank Sarasin am Freitag, 17. Mai 2013 zum letzten Mal an der SIX Swiss Exchange gehandelt werden (letzter Handelstag) .

De-listing contemplated for 21 May 2013: The Court of Appeal of Basel-City cancels the remaining publicly held Sarasin B shares

On 25 April 2013, the Court of Appeal of the canton of Basel-City cancelled the remaining publicly held registered B shares of Bank Sarasin. This decision followed Safra's public takeover offer for all publicly held registered B shares of Bank Sarasin, which was completed in October 2012, and as a result of which Safra held 99% of the share capital and voting rights of Bank Sarasin.

At the request of Bank Sarasin, the SIX Swiss Exchange has agreed to the delisting of the Sarasin B Shares. In compliance with the contemplated timetable, it is expected that the delisting takes place on Tuesday 21 May 2013 and that the Sarasin B shares be traded for the last time on the SIX Swiss Exchange on Friday 17 May 2013 (last trading day).
