Product Recall Trends in Hardlines: Q1 2018 Montag, 23. April 2018 - 14:27

281 hardlines products were recalled in the EU in Q1, compared to 257 in the previous quarter. These included toys, food contact materials, children’s equipment, and kitchen utensils, which presented predominantly chemical and choking risks.

Risks of fall, fire, injury and burns were the main risks identified in the USA, where some 32 products were recalled, a drop of 38% in comparison with Q4 2017.
