In the USA, recalls of softlines products dropped for another quarter – with just 5 products recalled, compared to 11 recalls in Q4 2017. All recalls were clothing, textile and fashion items presenting mostly risks of flammability and choking.
In the EU, recalls of softlines products dropped by 59%, with just 57 recalls compared to 140 in the previous quarter. Of these, 47 were clothing, textile and fashion items presenting risks including, mostly, choking and strangulation.
