Bellevue Group's subsidiary StarCapital acquires Germany-based Mars Asset
Management

StarCapital AG, a subsidiary of Bellevue Group AG, is planning to acquire
Mars Asset Management GmbH, a company based in Bad Homburg v.d.H. The deal
is subject to approval by the supervisory authorities and to the fulfilment
of various preconditions customary for such transactions. Mars Asset
Management GmbH will be wholly integrated into StarCapital AG, which was
itself taken over by Bellevue Group in summer 2016, with retroactive effect
from January 1, 2018.

Founded in 2013, Mars Asset Management is an independent asset manager
focusing on multi-asset strategies with capital protection. At end-March
2018, the company managed assets of mainly institutional investors totaling
approximately CHF 450 million. The Mars Asset Management team comprises
three investment specialists, all of whom will join StarCapital. With the
acquisition of Mars Asset Management, StarCapital will be able to complete
its range of expertise in the area of multi-asset strategies and further
strengthen its German base.
