Katanga's Settlement Agreement with Gécamines becomes effective

 

Glencore refers to its announcement on 12 June, 2018 with regard to the Settlement Agreement entered into by Katanga Mining Limited ("Katanga") with La Générale des Carrières et des Mines ("Gécamines") for the resolution of the capital deficiency at Katanga's 75% owned DRC operating subsidiary Kamoto Copper Company.

 

Glencore confirms that the condition precedent to the Settlement Agreement has now been fulfilled. The Settlement Agreement is therefore unconditional and effective.
