In addition to minor adjustments to the structure and the procedure of the tariff-setting, an increase in the transfer payment to finance the costs of the air traffic segment in accordance with Art. 34 OAC is envisaged.

Further material adjustments are not intended. The FOCA presents the prospect for a stakeholder involvement towards the end of 2018. According to current planning, the revised OAC will come into force in the summer of 2019.

Flughafen Zürich AG welcomes the improvement of the current ordinance with regard to the procedure of tariff-setting, but regrets the one-sided increase of the transfer payment from the non-regulated business segment for the determination of the charges, which is in favour of the airlines.

As part of its stakeholder involvement, Flughafen Zürich AG will continue its efforts to ensure that future long-term investments in Switzerland's aviation infrastructure will be adequately refinanced via flight operations charges.
