Traffic figures
2'790'179 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in June (+6.1% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 3.7% and transfer passengers increased by 12.5%. The transfer rate which was at 27.7% last June is at 29.4% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In June, air traffic movements increased by 2.8% to 24’677 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 2.2 percentage points to 80.5% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 130.7 (127.3 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in June was CHF 52.5m (+2.0% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +7.0% for airside and -5.5% for landside.

Please note:
There is a base effect as Whitsun holiday (public holiday) was earlier this year (June 2017 vs. May 2018).
