Across the EU some 206 hardlines products were notified as unsafe from categories including toys, food contact materials, chemical products and children’s equipment. Principle risks across these categories included choking, chemical and injury.

In the USA some 25 hardlines products from the toys and machinery categories were recalled. Principle risks were choking, fire and injury.
