2013 marks the 12th consecutive year that Zurich has been named “Best Private Insurer,” the fourth consecutive year it has been named “Best Trade Insurer in Asia Pacific” the third consecutive year Zurich has been named “Best Trade Insurer in North America,” and the first year Zurich has been named “Best Trade Insurer in Latin America.”

O’Connell said that the format for the 2013 Awards for Excellence was revised and moved from a direct poll system to a dual process of nomination and market assessment.
