Lalique Group announces favourable court decision in a legal case in France
Zurich, 13 September 2018 – Lalique Group SA (SIX: LLQ), which is active in the creation, development, marketing and worldwide distribution of luxury goods, today announced that a court of appeal in a previously announced case in France has ruled in its favour and awarded the Group compensation of EUR 2.4 million. The decision is not yet final and has no effect on the halfyear results for 2018.
In proceedings Lalique Group has brought against a former legal counsel in France to enforce a claim for damages, the Group has obtained a favourable judgement from the Paris Court of Appeal and has been awarded compensation in the amount of EUR 2.4 million. The judgement, issued on 11 September 2018, is not yet final and can be referred to the Court of Final Appeal in Paris within a two months deadline.
The judgement of the Paris Court of Appeal has no effect on the results of Lalique Group for the first half of 2018. Publication of the 2018 half-year results is planned for 20 September 2018.
