There were 99 recalls of softline products in the EU in Q4 2018, a decrease of 14% from Q3. Top recall categories in the EU were:
- Clothing, textile and fashion items, with the main risks being injuries and choking
- Jewelry, with 100% of recalls due to chemical risk
Recalls in the USA remained steady at 5, in comparison with Q3, with the top recall category being clothing, textiles and fashion items. The main risks were choking and flammability.
