Traffic figures
2'134'608 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (+5.8% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 2.6% and transfer passengers increased by 14.1%. The transfer rate which was at 28.9% last January is at 31.1% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In January, air traffic movements increased by 3.0% to 21'680 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of 0.7 percentage points to 68.8% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 113.0 (112.3 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in January was CHF 42.1m (+0.1% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 0.0% for airside and +0.3% for landside.
