Traffic figures
2’033’853 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in February (+3.4% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 2.3% and transfer passengers increased by 6.2%. The transfer rate which was at 28.2% last February is at 28.9% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In February, air traffic movements increased by 4.6% to 19’697 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of 1.6 percentage points to 71.7% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 118.0 (118.1 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in February was CHF 39.7m (-0.4% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into +1.8% for airside and -3.3% for landside.
