RWD Schlatter wins major contract at Zurich Airport

Arbon, 3 May 2019 – In the tenders for the construction of THE CIRCLE at Zurich Airport (CH), Arbonia's subsidiary RWD Schlatter has been awarded a major contract. The general contractor HRS Real Estate AG has commissioned the Swiss door manufacturer RWD Schlatter to supply doors to the value of around CHF 8,000,000. By the time of the scheduled project completion in 2020, RWD Schlatter will have delivered over 3,200 doors.

In addition, another subsidiary of Arbonia, Prolux Solutions, received an order as part of the construction of THE CIRCLE. Prolux Solutions has been commissioned to supply around 140 radiators and convectors.

The construction project THE CIRCLE comprises 180,000 square meters of gross floor space, including a medical centre of the University Hospital Zurich, two hotels and a congress centre for up to 2,500 visitors. The owners of the project, which is scheduled for completion in 2020, are Flughafen Zürich AG and Swiss Life AG.
