Traffic figures
2’727’199 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in April (+0.9% vs. previous year). Local passengers decreased by -0.6% and transfer passengers increased by 4.9%. The transfer rate which was at 27.2% last April is at 28.3% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In April, air traffic movements decreased by -1.0% to 23’265 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of -0.3 percentage points to 80.0% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 131.8 (132.3 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in April was CHF 50.8m (+2.6% vs. previous year). The increase divides into +1.7% for airside and +4.0% for landside.
