Burkhalter Group buys electrical engineering company in Emmental
With effect from 4 June 2019, the Burkhalter Group is acquiring Wisler Elektro AG, based in Zäziwil in the canton of Bern. The company employs 22 people and generates annual sales of around CHF 3 million.

The Burkhalter Group is strengthening its presence in the Bern region by purchasing Zäziwil-based Wisler Elektro AG. The company has enjoyed success in the local market since 1976 and primarily offers traditional electrical engineering services. Current co-owner André Wisler will retain his managerial responsibilities and staff jobs will be secured. Harwid Hausgeräte Service AG, based in Langau im Emmental, owned by the company, will be integrated into Wisler Elektro AG and will continue to operate as a site.
With Wisler Elektro AG, the Burkhalter Group now has seven companies in the canton of Bern. It remains part of the group’s strategy to gain additional market share by selectively acquiring other electrical engineering companies.
