ASCOM WIRELESS SOLUTIONS ERHÄLT VOM KLINIKUM STUTTGART EINEN BEDEUTENDEN FOLGEAUFTRAG FÜR EIN MOBILES KOMMUNIKATIONS-SYSTEM

Das Klinikum Stuttgart (www.klinikum-stuttgart.de) hat sich entschieden, künftig auch an seinem Standort Mitte integrierte, drahtlose IP-DECT Kommunikations-systeme von Ascom Wireless Solutions (www.ascom.com/ws) einzusetzen. Das Gewinnen dieses Auftrags gegen einen starken Konkurrenten entspricht einem weiteren strategisch wichtigen Schritt für Ascom in der Umsetzung seiner Strategie der Mission-Critical Wireless Communication für das Gesundheits-wesen. Der Auftrag hat ein Volumen von mehr als CHF 1,5 Mio.

Neben dem Krankenhaus Bad Cannstatt setzt das Klinikum Stuttgart künftig auch am Standort Mitte integrierte drahtlose IP-DECT Kommunikationssysteme von Ascom ein. Das Projekt umfasst die Installation der Mobilgeräte vom Typ Ascom d62 und Ascom d81 sowie begleitende Services. Für den Auftrag liefert Ascom über 1'000 Basisstationen und rund 1‘400 Endgeräte, mit denen der Nutzer drahtlose Telefonie sowie Messaging- und unterschiedliche Alarmierungsaufgaben abwickeln kann. Ergänzend lassen sich mit den Systemen Informationen der Patienten-Monitore direkt auf das jeweilige mobile Endgerät übermitteln. Damit wird mit dem zentralen Neubau bis 2022 der künftige Dreh- und Angelpunkt des Klinikum-Standortes Mitte geschaffen. Durch die offene Systemarchitektur können die Alarm-Telefonsysteme übergreifend an den Klinikstandorten genutzt werden – ein Mehrwert in puncto Flexibilität und Wirtschaftlichkeit.

ASCOM WIRELESS SOLUTIONS SECURES AN IMPORTANT SUBSEQUENT ORDER FROM KLINIKUM STUTTGART FOR A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Klinikum Stuttgart (www.klinikum-stuttgart.de) in Baden-Wuerttemberg/GER decided to equip also its location Mitte with a wireless IP-DECT communication system from Ascom Wireless Solutions (www.ascom.com/ws). Winning this important order against a strong competitor represents a next strategically important step for Ascom in implementing its strategy of Mission-Critical Wireless Communication in healthcare. The order has a volume of more than CHF 1.5 million.

Besides Bad Cannstatt Hospital the Stuttgart Clinical Center is now also using integrated wireless IP-DECT communication systems from Ascom at the clinic location Mitte. The project involves the installation of mobile devices such as Ascom d62 and Ascom d81 as well as support services. For the order Ascom supplied over 1,000 base stations and around 1,400 terminals to enable the user to handle wireless telephony, messaging and various alarm functions. In addition, information from patient monitors can be transmitted directly to each mobile terminal. With the consolidation of medical centers and clinics in one place, the new central building is considered to be the trend-setting hub of the clinical center location in Stuttgart. Open system architecture enables the alarm telephony systems to be used across all three clinic locations – an added value in terms of flexibility and economic efficiency
