Die Galenica Gruppe beteiligt sich mit 49% an der Bahnhof Apotheke Zürich und erweitert damit ihr Apothekennetz mit einer sehr erfolgreichen und strategisch ausgezeichnet positionierten Apotheke: Mit täglich über 350’000 Pendlern und Reisenden ist der Hauptbahnhof Zürich der bestfrequentierteste Ort in der Schweiz. Die Alleininhaberin schliesst sich mit dieser strategischen Partnerschaft dem führenden Partner im Schweizerischen Apothekenmarkt an und leitet einen ersten Schritt einer zukünftigen Nachfolgelösung ein. Als Mehrheitsaktionärin ist sie weiterhin eigenständig verantwortlich für die Führung der Apotheke.
_Die Bahnhof Apotheke Zürich, 1995 gegründet, ist die grösste Apotheke in der Schweiz und weit über die Kantonsgrenzen bekannt. Sie ist 365 Tage im Jahr jeweils von 07.00 Uhr bis Mitternacht geöffnet und damit nicht nur für die Reisenden am Bahnhof Zürich eine sehr gut erreichbare, professionelle Anlaufstelle für alle Fragen rund um die Gesundheit. Die über 100 Mitarbeitenden beraten die Kunden in mehr als 16 Sprachen und können vor Ort ein Sortiment mit über 18’000 Produkten anbieten. Es umfasst nicht nur Medikamente, sondern auch ein vielfältiges Angebot von Produkten aus den Bereichen Komplementärmedizin, Dermokosmetik und Parfümerie.
_Mit der Beteiligung von 49% an der Bahnhof Apotheke Zürich erweitert die Galenica Gruppe ihr Apothekennetz mit einem sehr erfolgreichen und strategisch ausgezeichnet positionierten Standort. Ingrid Barrage, die bisherige Alleinaktionärin, bleibt mit 51% Mehrheitsaktionärin. Sie wird die Apotheke weiterhin selbstständig nach ihrem bewährten, erfolgreichen Konzept führen, hat mit dieser strategischen Partnerschaft jedoch einen ersten Schritt einer zukünftigen Nachfolgelösung eingeleitet. Es ist geplant, dass die Galenica Gruppe zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt die Aktienmehrheit übernehmen wird. Bis es soweit ist, bleibt Ingrid Barrage als Mehrheitsaktionärin weiterhin eigenständig verantwortlich für die Führung der Apotheke.
_Die Parteien haben Stillschweigen über die Transaktionskonditionen und die Geschäftszahlen der Bahnhof Apotheke Zürich vereinbart.

The Galenica Group acquires 49% stake in pharmacy Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich
The Galenica Group has acquired a 49% stake in the Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich, thereby expanding its network with a highly successful and strategically well-positioned pharmacy. With over 350,000 commuters and travellers passing through every day, Zurich’s main station is the most frequented place in Switzerland. In concluding this strategic partnership, the sole proprietor joins the leading player in the Swiss pharmacy market, taking a first step in future succession planning. As the majority shareholder, the current owner retains sole responsibility for managing the pharmacy.
_Founded in 1995, the Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich is the largest pharmacy in Switzerland and well known outside the canton. Open from 7 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year, it is a readily accessible, professional source of advice and help for all healthcare questions – and not just for travellers. More than 100 employees advise customers in over 16 languages, offering a range of over 18,000 products which include not only medications but also a wide range of complementary medicines, dermocosmetics and perfumery items.
_The 49% stake of the Galenica Group in the Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich expands its pharmacy network with the addition of a highly successful and strategically well-positioned location. Ingrid Barrage, formerly the sole shareholder, remains the majority shareholder with a 51% stake. She will continue to manage the pharmacy independently, based on her proven, successful concept. However, the conclusion of this strategic partnership is a first step towards future succession planning. The Galenica Group intends to become the majority shareholder at a later date. Until that time, Ingrid Barrage, as the majority shareholder, will retain sole responsibility for managing the pharmacy.
_The parties have agreed not to disclose the conditions of the transaction nor the financial figures of the Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich.

_Avec une participation de 49% dans la Bahnhof Apotheke Zurich, le Groupe Galenica élargit son réseau de pharmacies en y ajoutant un point de vente rencontrant un vif succès et jouissant d’un excellent emplacement stratégique. Ingrid Barrage, actionnaire unique jusqu’ici, reste, avec 51%, actionnaire majoritaire. Elle continuera à gérer la pharmacie de manière indépendante selon son concept à succès et éprouvé, et ce partenariat stratégique lui permet de poser un premier jalon en vue de sa succession à venir. Le Groupe Galenica envisage, dans une étape ultérieure, de reprendre la majorité des actions. D’ici là, Ingrid Barrage reste responsable indépendante de la gestion de la pharmacie.
