Burkhalter Group purchases electrical engineering company in Einsiedeln
With effect from 6 December 2019, the Burkhalter Group is acquiring Elektro Kälin AG in Einsiedeln in the canton of Schwyz. The company employs 20 people and generates annual sales of around CHF 2.4 million.

The Burkhalter Group is strengthening its presence in the canton of Schwyz by purchasing Elektro Kälin AG in Einsiedeln. This company has been successfully operating in the regional market for more than 75 years and primarily offers traditional electrical engineering services. The current owner, Christian Kälin, will continue in his managerial role. The employees’ jobs will be retained.
The purchase of Elektro Kälin AG is the 25th acquisition by Burkhalter Holding Ltd since its IPO in June 2008. It remains part of the group’s strategy to gain additional market share by selectively acquiring other electrical engineering companies.
