Sale of Joe White Malting to Cargill

Glencore Xstrata plc ("Glencore") confirmed on 5 August 2013 that it has entered into an agreement to sell Joe White Maltings, Adelaide, Australia ("Joe White"), to Cargill, Incorporated ("Cargill").

Joe White was acquired by Glencore as part of the Viterra acquisition. The sale is subject to standard regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of Q4.
