14th August 2013: Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB), a leading supplier of advanced solutions for the connected home, today announced that its Mediabox Platform has been short-listed for two CSI awards: Best Satellite Contribution/Distribution/Transmission solution and Best Customer Premise Technology. The winners will be announced at the CSI awards ceremony on Friday, 13th September at IBC.
Launched in March 2013, ADB’s Mediabox Platform is a state-of-the-art hybrid digital TV receiver and DVR that acts as a central hub for a subscriber’s connected home entertainment needs and provides multi-room and multi-screen functionality.
Mediabox is designed to make it easy for operators to launch TV anywhere services. The platform has a consistent user interface across all devices and its innovative FollowMe function makes it easy for viewers to switch between devices in the home and on the move, yet seamlessly experience the same live TV, DVR recordings and OTT services.
