Cosmo gibt Zulassung von GI GENIUS™ in Australien bekannt Freitag, 28. Februar 2020 - 07:00

Dublin, Irland – 28. Februar 2020 - Cosmo Pharmaceuticals N.V. (SIX: COPN) gab heute bekannt, dass GI Genius™ die Zulassung zum Vertrieb in Australien erhalten hat.

GI Genius™ ist das erste System, welches künstliche Intelligenz benutzt, um kolorektale Polypen zu erkennen und wird in der EU bereits vertrieben.

Cosmo hat kürzlich sehr positive Resultate in der ersten Investigator-initiierten prospektiven klinischen Versuchsreihe ihres intelligenten GI-Genius™ Endoskopiegeräts gemeldet. Bei dieser Versuchsreihe erhöhte das Gerät die Adenom-Erkennungsrate (ADR) um den absoluten Wert von 16% von 40,9% in der Kontrollgruppe auf 56,9% in der GI-Genius™-Gruppe..

Die klinische Versuchsreihe, welche für die Zulasssung von GI Genius™ in den USA nötig ist, läuft zurzeit und sollte in vier bis sechs Monaten abgeschlossen sein.
